Galatians 6v10

I had to do a painting that when you look at it, you see a glimpse of my personality. It was for an exercise at a company I am at, and the strict instructions were, “it had to be blue”.

I asked Jesus what I should paint, and for the life of me couldn’t figure out what to do. He kept on showing me this picture, of hands washing feet, and I kept on telling Him how I would “not be painting that for the workplace”, I was new after all, and thought that it wouldn’t “be appropriate”, so I promptly kept on asking Him for something else.

Nothing else ever came, if anything, this is all I kept on seeing. So, out of obedience, I painted it, I prayed over it, prophesied over it, and handed it to the Managing Director of the company.

It still hangs in the office, and I get to see it everyday, however, the true meaning of this painting only started revealing itself in mid 2015.

You see, I experienced the spirit of adoption through Bob and Kimberley Johnson, which has absolutely without a doubt changed my life. And if any of you have ever read the book called “Love stains” by Bob Johnson, if you look at the cover, you can see why this painting means that much more.

I started and finished this painting beginning of 2014. God started addressing my father issues and my identity March 2014 through to the breakthrough of adoption in June 2015. The magnificence of this, is that He started dealing with me in this area WAY before I was even aware of it.

And that is how He puts the puzzle pieces of our lives together. He is gentle, He is kind, He knows all, and He knows me, He sees me, He loves me, He delights in me, I am His daughter, and He is my Father and I stand amazed at how He works bit by bit, piece by piece in my life and imprints the permanence of His magnificence in my life, rebuilding and restoring, little by little, for His glory.

Galatians 6v10 reads: “For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ”

Wherever you are, especially in the workplace, do your work as unto the Lord, tread upon the snake of the fear of man, and look to the Lord as your strength, your prize, your portion, and your face will shine with the countenance of the Son of God and people around you will be drawn to Him, and know He is real. Just because you love Him so and set your heart upon Him.
